Haven Homes exists to provide healthy, life-changing housing solutions to our friends in recovery from substance abuse. Each of us who make up the HH leadership team came to be part of this organization through a relationship with someone who has been touched by the pain of addiction through a loved one, or has struggled with addiction and homelessness themselves. Not one of us, even our president, planned to start a non-profit for recovery housing but it fell upon us through our connections...God had the plan and we were called to be a part of it. In many ways, because of this surprise beginning, we are all in awe and a constant state of gratitude for the privilege of being part of the lives of those whom we serve. We get the joy of coming alongside people who are truly pursuing a new life; a clean, whole, healthy life that allows them to love others well, keep their commitments to their children and family members, contribute to their community in a generous and selfless way, and discover the fulfillment of a life of independence, ownership, and self-responsibility.

We know that addiction is a disease; a complex issue that includes choices and the decision to live in sobriety comes with a tremendous amount of hard work, vulnerability, and a daily; even hourly, decision to be healthy. We have some core values that help guide our decisions in leading our residents, some of which are: "Courage over Comfort", We cannot work harder for your recovery than you do", "Love shows up", "Approach conflict w/open-mindedness". These are just a few of the values that help us help those who come to us.

We aim to be a beacon of hope, offering a safe haven where individuals can find the guidance, resources, and encouragement to rebuild their lives. Through our holistic approach, we aspire to empower residents with the tools and skills necessary for long-term recovery and successful reintegration into society. Together, we are committed to fostering a culture of acceptance, growth, and resilience, ensuring that every person who walks through our doors has the opportunity to embrace a life of sobriety, purpose, and fulfillment.
